Caribbean Guide; Information and History.
The Caribbean is rich in culture and history. This will become apparent to you when you arrive. The history of the Caribbean is overloaded with adventurous tales, blended cultures, and natural diversity. The impact of colonialism and slavery can still be seen in many of the island cultures today.
The Caribbean is a perfect family holiday destination and travellers are readily embraced. You will find the locals friendly and fun loving. There are plenty of activities for all the family to appreciate.
You will find fine dining in the islands we have villas in, Caribbean cuisine has become world renowned. Meals based on fresh seafood, fruit and vegetables are served in reasonably priced restaurants around the resort areas. Delicacies vary across the region but we advise you to look out for game fish, like marlin, and smaller fish, such as red snapper. Conch is a versatile local shellfish and local stews are often unexpectedly hearty.
At night you will find that the Caribbean really comes alive, drinking and live music is part of the culture and you can be happily entertained in bars, restaurants and casinos. Most casinos tend to be located in hotels and require a dress code.
